　　Task1 - A friend of yours studies in a business school now, but he really likes playing musical instrument. So he plans on dropping business school for studying music. What suggestion would you give to this friend？

　　Response tips:

　　Drop Business school:

　　It’s important to follow one’s heart: interestbest teacher, motivation and devotionmore likely to succeed

　　Too many students attend business school: lack of interest&fierce competitionmight be a waste of time and personal talentmore likely to fail in career

　　Continue business school:

　　Not many people can really persist career in music: too much competition&risk.

　　Task2 - When there’s a challenge, would you prefer to face it alone, or would you rather seek help from others?

　　Fact: help can not always be gained from others. In case of emergencies(give example), one needs to be prepared.

　　It’s a way of self-learning and trainingto be independent, acquire more skill-set(when study, when live alone...)

　　Face challenge with help:

　　Facing challenges alone can be time-consuming and unproductive(give example).

　　Task3

　　一个学生写信建议学校将graduation ceremony挪至室外举行，这样大家可以看到草坪美景，并且场地宽阔，能容纳更多宾客。对话中男生不同意。首先，在毕业典礼上，大家只会关注仪式；至于风景，仪式结束也可以看。其次，因为毕业生不多，并没有很多宾客；如果空间有限，大家也可以选择看电视直播，这样反而方便。

　　Task4

　　话题是appeasement behavior，指在同一动物族群中，软弱的动物会给出一些行为或信号以示弱，从未避免与强者的争斗。教授的例子关于狼群争食。弱势的狼会低头示弱，这样强势的狼就不会欺负它。

　　Task5

　　女生看中了心仪的房子，但附近有building construction，这会影响她在家学习。对话中提出两个方案。第一，她可以选择其他住所，但可能贵些。第二，她可以选择去图书馆学习，但她需要每天带着笔记本电脑和书本来来回回，比较麻烦。

　　Task6

　　教授介绍了两个strategy可以让产品更吸引顾客。第一种是improve quality，教授举例和电脑耳麦相关。第二种是当quality无竞争力时，可以强调某些characteristic使得产品脱颖而出。教授举例与某种食物相关，比如强调它较同类产品更辣的品质会很吸引顾客。
