8月26日，陕西延安和四川广安分别发生客车与货车追尾事故，总共造成48人死亡。两起事故引起各界对客车安全运营的关注。

周日发生的两起交通事故导致48人丧生，再次引发人们对于卧铺客车和搭载儿童车辆安全的关注。

Overnight bus也叫sleeper bus，就是陕西延安事故中涉及的“卧铺客车”。这种客车为double-decker bus（双层客车），因为是long distance bus（长途客车），乘客需要在车上过夜，所以也叫overnight bus。

“追尾”多用rear-end表示，比如：The truck was rear-ended by a sleeper bus.（那辆货车被一辆卧铺客车追尾了。）“追尾事故”则可用rear-end collision来表示。
